EventZR is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for all users, regardless of ability.
Last updated: 1 March 2026
EventZR believes that events should be accessible to everyone. We are committed to providing a platform that is usable by the widest possible audience, including people with disabilities.
We strive to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA standard. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible to people with a wide range of disabilities, including visual, auditory, physical, speech, cognitive, language, learning, and neurological disabilities.
EventZR is partially conformant with WCAG 2.2 Level AA. Partially conformant means that some parts of the content do not fully conform to the accessibility standard.
We continuously audit and improve our platform. Our goal is full WCAG 2.2 AA conformance across all portals and mobile applications by Q4 2026.
The accessibility of EventZR relies on the following technologies:
Our platform is tested and optimised for the following assistive technologies:
NVDA, JAWS, VoiceOver (macOS/iOS), TalkBack (Android)
Dragon NaturallySpeaking, Voice Control (macOS), Voice Access (Android)
ZoomText, Windows Magnifier, macOS Zoom, browser zoom up to 400%
Full keyboard accessibility, visible focus indicators, skip navigation links
All interactive elements are reachable and operable via keyboard. Tab order follows a logical reading sequence. Focus indicators are visible in all themes.
Three theme modes (Dark, Light, System) ensure comfortable viewing. All themes maintain minimum 4.5:1 contrast ratio for normal text and 3:1 for large text.
Animations and transitions respect the prefers-reduced-motion media query. Users who prefer reduced motion see static alternatives.
All text scales correctly up to 200% zoom without loss of content or functionality. Layouts reflow at 400% zoom for single-column reading.
All meaningful images include descriptive alt text. Decorative images are marked as presentational. AI-generated content includes accessible descriptions.
All form fields have associated labels. Error messages are programmatically linked to their fields. Required fields are clearly indicated.
Despite our efforts, some areas have known accessibility gaps that we are actively working to resolve:
| Area | Limitation | Target Fix |
|---|---|---|
| Interactive Maps | Venue maps have limited screen reader support | Q2 2026 |
| Real-time Chat | Live chat notifications may not be announced by all screen readers | Q3 2026 |
| Video Content | Some legacy video content lacks captions | Q2 2026 |
| PDF Exports | Some exported PDFs are not fully tagged for accessibility | Q3 2026 |
